Poem of the Week: Waiting on the Morrow

The day fades fast
And I wonder of tomorrow
Of adventures and tales to tell
All waiting on the morrow

The sky is darkening
And the candles are alight
The glow shining forth
With every flame so bright

The day is nearly over
But a new one’s about to begin
The stars are shining fiercely
And the moon’s face does spin

Round and round we go
On this world beneath our feet
It turns around the sun
Until our end we meet

And so a day begins anew
With no mistakes in it yet
With all great things possible
And with absolutely no regrets.
